Game Rules

Playing the PFW Picks Contest is fun, easy, and best of all, free. Get ready to play by filling out the registration form, then use your email address and password you entered to return each week. Every week throughout the season, return to the site and record which teams across the NFL you think will win that week.

Pick ballots close at 11:59 a.m. ET the day of the week's first game, so make sure you mark your calendar. Remember the "football week" starts on Tuesday (Monday night games are considered part of the previous week's games). Also, keep track of the schedule so you know when there is a Thursday or Saturday game as those weeks will close earlier than the others.

Picks cannot be changed once you have entered them.

Scoring is simple:
  • One point for every correct pick
  • Two points for correctly picking a tie
  • Zero points if you pick wrong, or if you miss a game
Follow the leaderboard to see who has the highest scores. The scores are displayed along with the "alias" you entered when you register, so make sure they're not offensive.

The winner is the person with the highest number of points at the end of the season. If after the 17 weeks, more than one player has the same number of high points, the tie will be broken by a random drawing.

The prize for picking the most correct winners is an authentic Tom Brady home and away jersey.

PFW Picks Contest Terms:
  • By registering for the "PFW Picks Contest" (the "Contest"), registered contestants (the "Contestants") agree to these Contest Terms.
  • The Contest is administered by Patriots.com (the "Club") and operated according to the Club's public "Terms of Use".
  • The Club reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the publicly viewable information (eg. the "alias", etc.) for Contestants if it is deemed to be offensive.
  • The Contest is sponsored by Patriots Football Weekly (the "Sponsor") and they will be supplied with the list of Contestants and registration details.
  • The Sponsor may contact the Contestants using the collected registration information beyond the scope of the Contest.
  • Contestants who do not enter valid information when registering forfeit the Contest and are ineligible to play.
  • Contestants found to be tampering with the picks of other Contestants will forfeit the Contest and are ineligible to play.
  • The Contestant with the most recorded points at the end of the Contest will be the "Winner."
  • * The Winner will be awarded an authentic Tom Brady home jersey and an authentic Tom Brady away jersey (the "Prize").
  • In the case of a tie at the end of the Contest the Winner will be decided by a random drawing from the list of Contestants who have the same number of high points.
  • Only one Prize will be awarded at the end of the Contest to a single Winner and the Prize is non-transferable.
  • The Winner will be notified via email that they have won the Contest.
  • The Winner will have 60 days after being notified to claim the Prize.
  • If the Prize is not claimed 60 days after notification, the Winner forfeits the Prize and no further Prize(s) will be awarded.
